Cracked.com photoplasty: 21 Albums They Don’t Want You To Know About

I say some of these might be an improvement, actually.

Case in point:

I also thought the Adele one was hilarious.

New music video: “Manifest”

I’d had this documentary on the Royal Ballet of Cambodia sitting on my hard drive for about a year [available here at archive.org] intending to put it to use in a dance-themed archival footage video for “Manifest,” but never got around to actually cutting it up and setting it to “Manifest” until last night.

Enjoy!

Video notes: “Manifest” is off the third EP, Haze, and the album blood.black.haze.

blood.black.haze was released April 30, 2011 and is available through http://maqlu.bandcamp.com

Archival footage is from the public domain.

A year ago yesterday ago we finished mixing this album at Vogville Recording. I was acting as runner/assistant to the assistant [Kurt Maas] to the mix engineer [Dave Ogilvie].

Seems like a lifetime ago, so much has changed in my life and I think also for The Rabid Whole.

So nice to hear it finally see the light of day, and just in time for the blast-music-really-loud-with-the-windows-down summer driving season.

Officially out at the end of the month, Refuge is the second studio album from the Rabid Whole. Go order from Storming The Base now!

And if you’re in Toronto, the CD release party/show is April 27th at the Bovine Sex Club.
